He has held a variety of senior management roles for multinational companies such as Boeing, Intel and Turk Telekom. He holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an Executive MBA from the University of Washington.

Brendan has over 20 years of professional related experience in sales and business development, marketing & customer experience; the development & implementation of new strategy and business plans. Brendan has impressive experience in leading teams to achieve exceptional results. He has previously held various senior management roles in Sales, Product development & Marketing functions in the Telecommunication industry. Working for Etisalat, UAE under the capacity of VP – Group Multinational Corporations, then as VP – UAE Global Services and recently working for Orange Business Services, UK as a Global Lead Director – Business Development.

Karl Erik Broten is an accomplished finance professional seasoned in pivotal executive ICT roles in global markets with over 24 years of experience in finance and telecommunications industries. Previously being CFO for Telenor mobile operations, Karl is a creative and out-of-the-box thinker, he relishes establishing greenfield sites, operating as a results-focused leader executing tactical change by adapting and aligning business strategy and driving that strategy into action to meet Board-mandated objectives.

Gavin Rea is Chief Technical Officer, GBI. Gavin has over three decades of extensive management and industry experience in the development, delivery, operations & maintenance of international and domestic submarine telecommunications cable systems. Gavin has over 17 years of experience in the field and has previously held the position of Head of Subsea Centre of Excellence at BT.  Gavin has extensive experience in leading large teams of engineering managers and technicians responsible for the implementation, operation & maintenance of subsea cable assets, as well as supporting the development of wholesale and enterprise products that utilize submarine cables

Sultan Hayel Al-Enazi is Legal Manager, GBI. Sultan enjoys over 10 years of comprehensive experience in the legal field, tackling commercial law,  international commercial law, arbitration, and medical law. Sultan has previously held positions at the Al Jazeera Media Network, as well as the Qatari Ministry of Public Health. In his previous roles, Sultan took part in major projects, led litigation procedures, and ensured all legal proceedings were actioned with the highest ethical standards. Sultan holds a Bachelor of Law from Qatar University and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Corruption, Law, and Governance from Sussex University.
